My 1st Conquest

My new home is a toy haven!

Apparently my late sister Sydney licked her toys but never bit them or did any damage. Elkhounds must be really gentle lol!

Well, I inherited a WHOLE basket full of fuzzy, squeaky toys. There's even toys outside! Mom calls them outside toys and won't let me bring them in the house. Whatever!

The very first toy that I got my paws on is a dark brown squirrel. It has a nice furry tail and, wait for it... SQUEAKS!

Squeaky toys make me so very happy! I hold them in my mouth and squeak away. The funny thing is that after a while they stop squeaking.

The squeaking lasted for two days. I was being careful and a little shy since this was a new place I was visiting. Surely it would have stopped sooner if I let myself go.

The stuffing lasted a little longer. On the 5th day I decided it was time to get to the bottom of the silence. There must be a way to turn the squeaking "on" again. So I am guessing that this is not allowed since mom picked up the fluffy stuff and put the squirrel on the table where I couldn't get it.
1st conquestSo much fun!

It's been years since I've had toys. The rescues and shelters had some but there were other dogs playing with them and none of them squeaked anyway.

Well, to be safe I thought I should hide my new toy in this strange planter. it wasn't really as deep as the ground but it will do. No one will ever find it here!No one will ever find my squirrel here
